Gabon’s government is stepping up efforts to tighten control over projects funded by the African Development Bank (BAD) to ensure swifter implementation. This push comes as Vice-President Hermann Immongault led a working session with a BAD delegation, headed by Country Administrator Mamour Ousmane Ba. The meeting included key ministers: Louise Mvono (Planning) and Pacôme Kossy (Agriculture). It follows recent high-level discussions in Brazzaville between the President and the BAD President during the institution’s annual meetings, aimed at assessing project progress and removing implementation bottlenecks.
