Paris Saint-Germain is finalizing one of its most substantial outgoing transfers to date. The Parisian club has reached an agreement with AC Milan for the services of Gonçalo Ramos, with the deal reportedly worth around 60 million euros. This major transaction will secure PSG’s position for its second-largest sale ever, despite the club incurring a slight financial loss on the player. Ramos was initially acquired permanently for 65 million euros, following a season-long loan valued at 20 million. The Portuguese forward’s tenure in Paris concludes without him having fully justified the considerable investment.

Neymar remains at the pinnacle of PSG’s all-time transfer sales chart. The Brazilian star was sold to Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023 for a staggering 90 million euros. Six years prior, he had arrived at PSG in what was then the most expensive transfer in football history, with 222 million euros disbursed to FC Barcelona. However, his journey in Saudi Arabia proved to be brief and largely uneventful, marked by just seven appearances, one goal, and three assists.

Prior to Ramos’s imminent departure, no other Parisian sale had crossed the symbolic 50 million euro threshold. That distinction previously belonged to Manuel Ugarte, who moved to Manchester United in the final hours of the 2024 summer transfer window for 50 million euros. This came just one year after his 60 million euro arrival from Sporting CP.
