The commander of the Tchad-Central African Republic (CAR) joint force, Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, made a compassionate visit to injured Chad-CAR soldiers at the Sarh Outel Bono provincial hospital on Sunday, May 10, 2026. This crucial visit aimed to offer support and assess the condition of military personnel wounded during recent skirmishes in the Korbol department.

Among the casualties were Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36 years old, who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chef Djimet Issakah Dane, who suffered a fractured left leg from gunfire. These soldiers were initially stabilized at the Sarh provincial hospital, but their injuries clearly necessitated more specialized medical attention.

Following discussions with the medical staff and healthcare providers, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested the urgent evacuation of both soldiers to N’Djamena. This critical decision was made to ensure they receive the advanced and specialized care required for their recovery.

Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Deputy Director of the Sarh provincial hospital, commended the swift response from the defense and security forces in facilitating the transfer of their comrades to N’Djamena for appropriate treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that the medical transfer of the two military personnel was executed rapidly on the same day, with military authorities expressing optimism that this expedited action will significantly enhance their chances of full recovery.
