Among the casualties were Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36 years old, who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chef Djimet Issakah Dane, who suffered a fractured left leg from gunfire. These soldiers were initially stabilized at the Sarh provincial hospital, but their injuries clearly necessitated more specialized medical attention.

Following discussions with the medical staff and healthcare providers, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested the urgent evacuation of both soldiers to N’Djamena. This critical decision was made to ensure they receive the advanced and specialized care required for their recovery.

Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Deputy Director of the Sarh provincial hospital, commended the swift response from the defense and security forces in facilitating the transfer of their comrades to N’Djamena for appropriate treatment.
