Justice minister Laurent Esso represented the head of state at the morgue of Yaoundé General Hospital on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
As the official representative of President Paul Biya, the Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals attended the body removal ceremony of Alexis Dipanda Mouelle, who served as First President of the Supreme Court of Cameroon.
Laurent Esso was accompanied by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Justice, also named Laurent Esso. Several other high-ranking officials were present, including Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute and Jean Nkuete, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (RDPC).
