Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for a busy summer transfer window, both in terms of arrivals and departures. South Korean international Kang-In Lee is expected to pack his bags and leave the capital club, heading to Atletico Madrid. His transfer could be announced right in the middle of the 2026 World Cup.
The transfer market is heating up at PSG. On the inbound side, the Parisian club appears close to finalising deals for Yan Diomandé, Maghnes Akliouche and Alessandro Longoni. But outbound movements are also picking up. After Gonçalo Ramos, who is set to join AC Milan, Kang-In Lee looks ready to move on. The 25-year-old believes it is time for a new challenge and has been linked with Atletico Madrid. His transfer could be announced during the 2026 World Cup.

Kang-In Lee is expected to be officially announced as Atletico Madrid’s newest signing in the coming days. The World Cup in America will dictate the timing of announcements for the Colchoneros. It is believed the Rojiblancos could take advantage of South Korea’s likely first-round elimination to reveal the arrival of the PSG attacking midfielder.
PSG holding out for around €35m for the transfer
Kang-In Lee appears to have already reached a personal agreement with Atletico Madrid. Only a final accord with PSG remains to complete the deal. According to Spanish media, the two-time European champions are looking for between €30m and €35m to part ways with the South Korean international.
