Psg’s pursuit of ayyoub bouaddi: a €70m valuation emerges

Paris Saint-Germain is actively surveying the Ligue 1 landscape to bolster its squad this summer, with Ayyoub Bouaddi firmly on their radar. The 18-year-old midfielder remains under contract with LOSC for another three years, indicating that a substantial bid will be necessary to persuade President Olivier Létang to sanction his departure. Reports suggest that an offer in the region of €70M could be sufficient to secure the talented young prospect.

LOSC President Olivier Létang had previously conveyed his intention to keep Ayyoub Bouaddi, who has attracted interest from clubs like PSG, for the upcoming season during an interview earlier in June. When questioned about a potential significant offer from the capital club, Létang candidly responded, « We will discuss it with Ayyoub, to be very sincere, because that was also the subject of our discussions. »

LOSC seeks an « extraordinary » transfer fee

Despite extending his contract until June 2029 last December, Ayyoub Bouaddi’s future at LOSC remains a topic of speculation, though any interested club will need to make a highly compelling case. Létang underscored his position, stating, « We’ve had very regular exchanges with Ayyoub. Our primary aim is to retain him. However, if an extraordinary proposal emerges, we could contemplate his departure. » When pressed on whether a sum exceeding €50M would be enough, he firmly asserted, « No, that’s not sufficient. We are far from the amount that would allow us to let Ayyoub go. »

Bouaddi’s price tag reportedly set at €70M

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, reporting for Sky Sport, the valuation for the Moroccan international, who holds three caps for his country, has been established at €70M. PSG, however, is not alone in its pursuit, facing stiff competition from Arsenal in this transfer saga. The Gunners have reportedly identified Bouaddi as a priority target to strengthen their midfield and have maintained consistent contact with the player and his representatives since January. While Ayyoub Bouaddi is said to have a preference for a move to Paris, he has reportedly shown receptiveness to the pitch made by the London club’s management, indicating his openness to a transfer to England.
