In a pivotal presentation to the Gabonese Business Federation (FEG) attended by vice president of government Hermann Immongault, Gabon Connect emerged as the nation’s game-changing digital gateway for administrative and financial processes. The platform is engineered to streamline declarations and payments while bolstering revenue tracking for enhanced government transparency.
Two groundbreaking modules lead the charge. The eEmployeur module introduces a unified salary declaration (DUS) to replace fragmented submissions to the tax authority, CNSS, and Cnamgs. Businesses will now submit a single monthly employee list. Pilot-tested in October among large enterprises under the Directorate of Major Companies, this service will extend to all employers by January 2027.
Complementing this, TrésorPay enables online declaration and settlement of non-tax state revenues, backed by secure electronic receipts. Customs and land registry services are next in line for integration, with full deployment slated for December 2027.
Momentum for transparency and revenue growth
Hermann Immongault emphasized how digitization will sharpen administrative efficiency and operational transparency. Thierry Minko, minister of economy, highlighted its potential to optimize revenue mobilization amid ongoing discussions with the IMF. Hélène Zoua-Ondo, FEG vice president for taxation, praised the initiative and stressed the need for comprehensive business training to ensure smooth adoption.
Key timeline for businesses
In 2026, social payment deadlines remain unchanged—only the declaration process shifts to a monthly cycle.
