The Parti des 7 Merveilles du Peuple Gabonais (7MP) and the Mouvement Oligui Nguema 100% (MON 100%) recently concluded a comprehensive national tour, presenting their findings this past Friday at Cité Damas. This extensive outreach initiative, spanning all nine provinces of Gabon, took place from June 4 to June 25, 2026. During a press conference, leaders from both organizations shared key insights gleaned from their mission and outlined future strategic directions.
The delegation, spearheaded by Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, who serves as both founding president of the 7MP and president of MON 100%, engaged directly with citizens, party activists, and local officials. The primary objectives were to ascertain the public’s concerns and to assess the nation’s social and political climate following the 2025 presidential election.
According to Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, the tour also played a crucial role in strengthening the internal cohesion of the two movements. “Since June 4, 2026, the 7MP and the MON 100% Movement have combined their efforts, building upon the momentum initiated on February 8, 2025,” he stated.
During the various stops, discussions centered on numerous issues highlighted by the populace. These included critical matters such as youth employment, access to clean drinking water, the condition of national roads, healthcare services, educational provision, and the escalating cost of living. “We ventured out to meet our fellow citizens, to listen to their voices, and to grasp the realities on the ground,” Ngoueneni Ndzengouma affirmed.

The leaders of both organizations also announced significant progress in their internal structures, including the reorganization of their provincial coordination bodies, updates to their member registries, and the successful recruitment of new members. “This mission enabled us to identify new local leaders, solidify MON 100%’s presence across all nine provinces, and secure 1,000 new membership applications,” the movement’s president elaborated.
The press conference drew the attendance of several prominent political figures, notably Angélique Ngoma, Secretary General of the Parti Démocratique Gabonais (PDG), and Gervais Oniane, President of the Union pour la République (UPR).
Speaking at the event, Gervais Oniane urged all political parties to prioritize dialogue and collaboration. “It is imperative that political parties work together in a spirit of unity and responsibility to support the significant transformations underway in the country,” he declared, emphasizing the importance of collective action in Gabon’s political landscape.
Following the gathering, officials from the 7MP and MON 100% proposed the establishment of a consultative platform. This platform would unite political parties that actively support the agenda of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. They believe such a framework for exchange could greatly enhance coordination among the various political formations in Gabon, fostering greater political unity and stability.
