Kenya and Chad deepen diplomatic ties with shared africa vision

Kenyan President William Ruto has reaffirmed the robust diplomatic bonds between Kenya and Chad, emphasizing their shared commitment to continental progress and mutual respect. Speaking on his official social media platform, he highlighted the two nations’ aligned vision for Africa’s future.

« Kenya and Chad share deep diplomatic roots built on unity, mutual respect, and a steadfast dedication to African solidarity, » Ruto stated. « We remain committed to advancing joint positions that champion our citizens’ interests, foster continental growth, and strengthen international partnerships. »

The Kenyan leader also commended Chad for its pivotal role in the UN-backed Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti. « Chad’s deployment of troops has been instrumental in restoring peace and stability in Haiti, offering hope to its people, » he added.

Ruto’s remarks followed productive discussions with Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby at the State House in Nairobi. During the meeting, he expressed gratitude for Chad’s instrumental contributions to the recent Africa Forward Summit, which concluded successfully.
