Traoré Amidou officially assumed the role of Director General at Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ENERGIES) this past Friday, July 24, 2026. The transition ceremony, led by Yves Konan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, marked the start of a new chapter for the state-owned energy enterprise.
The handover follows nearly five years of leadership under Noumory Sidibé, who guided CI-ENERGIES through a period of significant growth and development in Ivory Coast’s electricity sector.
During the event, the Board of Directors commended Sidibé’s outstanding contributions, highlighting the progress achieved under his management.
CI-ENERGIES operates as the public entity responsible for steering and expanding Ivory Coast’s electricity infrastructure and services, playing a critical role in the nation’s energy landscape.
