The High Authority for Party Regulation (HARP) of Pastef-Les Patriotes has released a provisional list of candidates for the upcoming internal elections to select the party’s new leadership. Among the submissions received, only Ousmane Sonko’s candidacy has been deemed valid at this stage.

This decision, outlined in the official HARP document, confirms that no other applications met the necessary criteria for consideration. The upcoming Pastef-Les Patriotes congress, scheduled for the coming weeks, will serve as the platform to finalize the party’s presidential selection process.
