Shock and grief gripped the Anguissa neighborhood of Yaoundé this Sunday, June 28. Young Sylvana, aged ten, was brutally stabbed multiple times by a 22-year-old woman. The suspect stated that she acted under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The incident occurred overnight while the girl’s parents were away from home.
Sylvana succumbed to the knife wounds inflicted by the assailant. The alleged perpetrator was arrested on June 28, 2026, at a place of worship. She is now in the custody of law enforcement, who are continuing investigations to shed full light on this tragedy.
