African Union official commends Morocco’s economic progress under King Mohammed VI

The African Union’s Commissioner for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade, Industry, and Mines, Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, has praised Morocco’s remarkable achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI during a recent visit to Rabat.

Following a productive meeting with Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, Commissioner Tatchouop Belobe highlighted the Kingdom’s significant strides in industrial growth over recent years. She underscored Morocco’s leading position in the continent’s automotive and aerospace sectors, which have become key drivers of economic transformation.

The Commissioner also commended Morocco’s commitment to sharing its expertise with other African nations, particularly through the development of a strategic value chain for critical minerals. This initiative is set to bolster resource diversification and sustainable industrialization across the continent.

In a gesture of appreciation, Commissioner Tatchouop Belobe extended her gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his unwavering support to the African Union’s initiatives, reinforcing the importance of continental collaboration in driving economic prosperity.
