Chadian prime minister praises Algerian president’s continental leadership

The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure of Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, concluded a two-day working visit to N’Djamena on Thursday, where he was received by the Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Republic of Chad, Mr. Allamaye Halina. During the meeting, Mr. Halina expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of Algerian President Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune in advancing bilateral cooperation and his influential leadership role across Africa.

Highlighting Algeria’s pivotal contribution to continental development and solidarity, the Chadian Prime Minister emphasized the unwavering commitment of his country to the Algerian Head of State’s vision for stronger ties and deeper integration between the two nations. « The depth of historical bonds and the spirit of fraternity uniting the peoples of Algeria and Chad are a testament to the enduring partnership we share, » he stated.

In a gesture of mutual respect, Mr. Halina conveyed cordial greetings from Chadian President Mr. Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno to President Tebboune, underscoring the shared values and solidarity that define the relationship between the two countries. He also extended warm regards to Algerian Prime Minister Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s dedication to expanding bilateral cooperation and fostering new avenues of collaboration.

The Algerian delegation, present during the audience following Mr. Djellaoui’s visit, comprised key figures including the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, senior officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, as well as the CEOs of Cosider Travaux Publics and the National Public Works Company (Entp).
