Morocco spain forge academic partnership in management sciences

In a significant move for academic cooperation, a major Moroccan association and its Spanish counterpart have inked a groundbreaking agreement to bolster management sciences collaboration.

The landmark accord was formalized on Saturday in Santander, Spain, between the Moroccan Association of Management (AMG), headquartered in Rabat, and Spain’s Scientific Association of Business Economics and Management (ACEDE).

This memorandum of understanding, as outlined by both organizations, establishes a robust framework for joint initiatives aimed at advancing scientific exchanges, developing collaborative research projects, and fostering participation in academic gatherings. It will also facilitate closer ties between researchers, academics, and doctoral candidates from both nations, according to an AMG statement. The association maintains close ties with Mohammed V University in Rabat.

As members of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM), the two bodies seek to deepen academic and scientific ties between Moroccan and Spanish research communities in the management sciences field.

Empowering the next generation of scholars

The partnership places particular emphasis on nurturing the next wave of researchers and educators. It aims to strengthen the competencies of doctoral students and young academics while enhancing their integration into global academic networks.

Spain’s premier management academy joins forces with Morocco

The ACEDE, recognized as Spain’s leading academy in business administration and management, was established in 1990. Today, it brings together over 700 university professors and researchers dedicated to advancing rigorous research and elevating teaching standards in business administration sciences.

Through this collaboration, the AMG and ACEDE intend to inject fresh momentum into scientific exchanges between Morocco and Spain, while providing young researchers from both countries with greater access to international academic platforms.
