The President of the National Assembly, Ousmane Sonko, has conveyed his deepest condolences following the passing of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, the esteemed Khalife of the Khassim Mbacké family in Guinguinéo, which occurred this Thursday. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, he honored the memory of the revered religious leader and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, the Grand Khalife of the Mouride Brotherhood, and the entire Senegalese nation.
« With profound sorrow and deep emotion, I learned of the return to Allah of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, Khalife of the Khassim Mbacké family in Guinguinéo, » wrote Ousmane Sonko in his tribute. He also reflected on their previous encounters during his visits to Guinguinéo, recalling the warmth, hospitality, and kindness the religious leader consistently displayed.
« I had the honor of meeting the respected guide multiple times during my visits to Guinguinéo. On each occasion, he welcomed us with special affection, warmth, and benevolence that left a lasting impression, » he shared.
