Peru affirms backing for Morocco’s Sahara autonomy plan
The incoming Peruvian government has pledged its support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its southern provinces, as announced by the office of President-elect Keiko Fujimori.
This stance was conveyed during a meeting between the President-elect and Morocco’s Ambassador to Peru, Amin Chaoudri, who presented a congratulatory message from His Majesty King Mohammed VI following her election as head of state.
