A pivotal general assembly recently concluded with the election of Tarik Hamane as president of AMEPA for a four-year term. This significant gathering also saw the formation of a new Board of Directors, comprising 27 members, and an Executive Bureau, with 12 members. These newly appointed bodies are designed to represent the full spectrum of stakeholders within the sector, encompassing both public and private entities.
Concurrently, an extraordinary general assembly convened to review and endorse the Association’s moral and financial reports. A crucial resolution was also passed by the members, amending AMEPA’s statutes. This strategic modification aims to align the organization’s operations with the dynamic shifts occurring within Morocco’s vital water sector, thereby invigorating its initiatives, particularly those focused on strengthening industrial sovereignty.
