The transfer of Leandro Trossard from Arsenal to Besiktas is official.
Belgian international Trossard, who won the English league with Arsenal last season and reached the Champions League final, has left the Gunners after 1.5 years.
According to an announcement by the club, Trossard was allowed to visit Istanbul for a medical check-up and complete transfer formalities.
Besiktas has shared a photo of the player wearing his new black-and-white jersey on social media.
Trossard played 174 matches for Arsenal, scoring 36 goals and providing 34 assists.
He was part of Belgium’s World Cup squad that reached the quarterfinals, where he scored two goals.
