The young athletes of Burkina Faso delivered outstanding performances at the U18 and U20 Five Nations Championships held from July 25 to 26, 2026, in Ouagadougou. With a total of 67 medals, Burkina Faso claimed the top spot, outperforming Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Togo.
Zalissa Zongo emerged as one of the standout performers, securing nearly six gold medals, including a national record in the triple jump.
