Chad president concludes visit to united arab emirates

The President of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena this evening following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The trip focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.

Diplomatic engagements in abu dhabi

During his stay in the United Arab Emirates, President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno held two high-level meetings with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second meeting was hosted at the Marshal’s residence.

The discussions covered a range of strategic topics, including economic cooperation, security partnerships, and development initiatives. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties between Chad and the United Arab Emirates.

Warm welcome in N’Djamena

Upon his arrival at N’Djamena International Airport, President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno was greeted by Prime Minister Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of the Presidential Military Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, and the Deputy Private Secretary. The Mayor of N’Djamena was also present to welcome the Head of State.

The official reception highlighted the importance of the President’s visit to the United Arab Emirates and underscored the strong diplomatic relations between Chad and its partners in the Gulf region.
