The President of Chad, His Excellency Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena in the early evening after an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During his stay, the Head of State held two high-level meetings with the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second meeting was held at the Marshal’s official residence.
Upon his arrival in N’Djamena, President Déby was greeted by a high-powered delegation, including the Prime Minister, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of Staff of the Presidency, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
Strengthening bilateral relations in the Gulf
The visit underscored Chad’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Gulf nations. Discussions centered on economic collaboration, regional security, and investment opportunities in both countries.
