Côte d’Ivoire’s investment forum draws 700+ global investors under PM Mambé’s leadership

Abidjan, July 9, 2026 — The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, exclusively dedicated to investors, kicked off today at the Abidjan Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.

Addressing a packed audience of entrepreneurs, international investors, and private sector leaders, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of this gathering: « This marks a pivotal step in our collective journey to mobilize private capital for Côte d’Ivoire’s ambitious 2026-2030 development roadmap. With over 700 investors from allied nations joining us, we are witnessing unprecedented collaboration to drive economic growth. »

The Prime Minister emphasized the forum’s role as a vital platform for fostering public-private dialogue while aligning strategies to boost Côte d’Ivoire’s economic trajectory. « Your unwavering commitment sends a powerful message of confidence in our nation’s economic potential. Together, we are laying the foundation for a more competitive and job-creating economy, » he stated.

The government has made the private sector the cornerstone of Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. The Prime Minister reassured investors of the country’s economic resilience, citing an average annual growth rate of 6.5% over recent years despite global instability. He positioned Côte d’Ivoire as one of Africa’s fastest-growing economies, offering a thriving market for strategic investments.

« Today, you are presented with a market brimming with opportunities, » he asserted. « This forum will fast-track investments in key PND 2026-2030 sectors such as industrialization, local raw material processing to enhance value addition, infrastructure development in transport, digital technology, logistics, and human capital investment. These priorities will strengthen our economy’s competitiveness and appeal. »

The first day of the forum, focused on institutional partners and development strategy presentations, attracted over 3,000 delegates from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire itself.

In a show of solidarity, leaders from the private sector echoed the Prime Minister’s optimism. Ahmed Cissé, President of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d’Ivoire (CGECI), Mehdi Tazi, President of Morocco’s General Confederation of Enterprises (CGEM), and Mohamed Gouled, Vice President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), all reaffirmed their confidence in Côte d’Ivoire’s vision. They pledged substantial financial commitments to support the PND 2026-2030 implementation.
