AC Milan have secured a full agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Portuguese international striker Gonçalo Ramos, 25. Personal terms have been finalised, and the player is now awaiting the official green light to join the Rossoneri, where he will reunite with compatriot Ruben Amorim, recently appointed as Milan’s head coach.

Ramos arrived at PSG three years ago from Benfica and now closes his Parisian chapter after seasons marked by fierce competition in the attacking line. The striker is eager to revive his career in Serie A and test himself in a new league. The move also brings him together with Amorim, who has just taken the reins at the San Siro.

A record-breaking fee for the Lombardy club

The transfer is set to become the most expensive in AC Milan’s history, surpassing the €50 million paid for Rafael Leão from Lille. The final package, including bonuses, could reach €70 million—a substantial sum for a club that will compete in the Europa League next season. Multiple reports indicate that the medical examination has already been completed, leaving only the official announcement pending in the coming days.

A handsome profit for PSG

From a financial standpoint, the deal is excellent for the Parisian club. PSG originally invested €65 million to bring Ramos from Benfica in the summer of 2023. Despite limited playing time in Paris, they are set to turn a comfortable profit. The medical has been passed, and the final formalities are expected to be wrapped up shortly.
