Abidjan, July 9, 2026 — The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, dedicated to investors, kicked off today at the Abidjan Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.
« This marks another pivotal chapter in our consultative initiative, centered on fostering private investment, entrepreneurship, and value creation. Our primary goal is to secure the private sector investments essential for turning our development vision into reality. I’m pleased to report that over 700 investors from friendly nations have joined us for this crucial dialogue, » Prime Minister Mambé stated.
Addressing a packed audience of business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives, he emphasized the significance of this gathering as a platform to strengthen collaboration with the private sector and align on a shared developmental trajectory.
« Your commitment alongside us reflects the confidence you place in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic potential and growth prospects. As key partners, your contributions are instrumental in shaping a more competitive, job-creating economy. The success of our ambitions hinges on your willingness to invest in our nation’s future, » he added.
The Prime Minister underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the driving force behind Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. He reassured investors of the country’s robust economic resilience and adaptability, citing an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years—a testament to its standing as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.
