Macky Sall seeks Senegal’s backing for UN role during brief visit

Former Senegalese President Macky Sall returned to Dakar today, greeted by supporters at the airport. He was later received by current President Diomaye Faye. Sall is campaigning for the position of UN Secretary-General and is seeking the endorsement of his successor.
