President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Faye has issued a clear warning to his successor, President Ousmane Sonko, in a message that can be translated as: ‘Here, now, what was tolerated will no longer be tolerated.’ The founder of the KIIRAAY – Les Patriotes républicains party recalls that Senegal is a country of stability and durable peace.
This message comes after several months of increasing tensions between the two heads of state, marked by differences in tone in their addresses to the nation and the rupture between the presidential coalition and the Pastef.
It’s worth noting that President Ousmane Sonko is also in a sales campaign for membership cards initiated since some days with his colleagues.
