Youth solidarity with security forces in lake Chad region against boko haram

On the afternoon of Sunday, May 24, 2026, young leaders in Baga-Sola demonstrated their unwavering support for the country’s Defense and Security Forces (FDS), who are actively combating the Boko Haram insurgency in the Lake Chad region.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Coordination of Youth Associations of the Lake (CADELAC), with local authorities present to witness the gesture. Coordination leader Mahamat Adam Moustapha extended heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the recent attacks in Barka Tollorom. He paid tribute to the FDS for their relentless efforts to uphold peace and security, emphasizing the youth’s commitment to vigilance and community mobilization in the fight against terrorism.

As a token of appreciation, CADELAC presented essential food supplies to the security personnel. The donation included five 50-kilogram bags of rice and ten cartons of pasta, symbolizing the resilience and solidarity of the region’s young population with those risking their lives to protect the province.
