Call for unity and dialogue to restore peace in Chad

The leader of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chadian chapter, Emmanuel Nadingar, held a press briefing in N’Djaména this month, addressing urgent calls for peace amid escalating tensions both globally and domestically.

Speaking at the federation’s headquarters in Sabangali, within the third arrondissement of the capital, Nadingar highlighted the growing polarization worldwide, where conflicts over dwindling resources have pushed communities to retreat into narrower, often hostile, groups.

Closer to home, he acknowledged significant shifts in Chad’s socio-political landscape, though he refrained from elaborating on specifics. Instead, he emphasized the need to confront these challenges head-on by fostering unity rather than division.

Nadingar urged all Chadians to reject tribalism, isolationism, and violence, stressing that these divisive forces only weaken the nation’s collective resilience. His solution? A robust, transparent national dialogue where every voice is heard and respected.

«Only through unity,» he asserted, «can we gather the strength to overcome the obstacles ahead.» His message was clear: sustainable peace in Chad begins with honest conversation and mutual understanding.

The Universal Peace Federation, an international NGO established in 2005, boasts a presence in over 190 countries worldwide, advocating for harmony and cooperation across diverse societies.
