Côte d’Ivoire’s prime minister rallies investors for PND 2026-2030 economic drive
Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé inaugurated the second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, uniting over 700 investors to fuel the nation’s economic momentum.
The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, dedicated to private investment, kicked off on July 9, 2026, in Abidjan at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire, led by Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.

Mambé underscored the government’s strategic shift, placing the private sector at the heart of Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. « Côte d’Ivoire has consistently demonstrated resilience, with an average annual growth rate of 6.5% over recent years, positioning us among Africa’s most vibrant economies. This momentum presents an unparalleled opportunity for investors like you, » he emphasized.
He outlined key sectors poised for accelerated investment under the PND 2026-2030: industrialization and local processing of raw materials to boost value addition, development of critical infrastructure in transport, digital technology, and logistics to enhance competitiveness, and investments in human capital, innovation, and essential services to foster a more productive and inclusive economy.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the success of the first day, which focused on institutional partners and the presentation of Côte d’Ivoire’s development strategy. « That session attracted over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire, setting a strong foundation for today’s discussions, » he noted.
Leading investors echoed the government’s optimism. Ahmed Cissé, President of the General Confederation of Ivorian Enterprises (CGECI), Mehdi Tazi, President of the Moroccan Confederation of Enterprises (CGEM), and Mohamed Gouled, Vice-President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), all reaffirmed their confidence in Côte d’Ivoire’s development roadmap. « We are fully committed to supporting the PND 2026-2030 through substantial financial contributions, » they affirmed.
