The Prime Minister of Senegal, Ousmane Sonko, alongside his cabinet members, appeared before the National Assembly today for the quarterly session of Questions to the Government. This constitutional exercise, held under Article 104 of the Assembly’s internal regulations, aims to reinforce transparency in public governance.
The session, which lasted 202 minutes, featured a structured exchange of 14 questions. Of these, 10 were allocated to the Pastef-Les patriotes parliamentary group (the majority), while 2 were assigned to the Takku Wallu opposition group, and the remaining 2 to independent deputies.
Chaired by Ismaëla Diallo, the First Vice-President of the National Assembly, this marks the fifth such session since the Prime Minister took office. The format underscores the government’s commitment to accountability and open dialogue with legislators.
