The University of Lomé (UL), Togo’s largest higher education institution, processes thousands of new high school graduates and continuing students annually. To streamline admissions for the upcoming academic year, the university has revamped its enrollment procedures, shifting to a fully digitalized system designed for efficiency and accessibility.
What you need to enroll at the University of Lomé
Before starting your online registration, gather these essential requirements:
- First-time students (LMD 1): You must have successfully completed the BAC 2 exam or hold an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Returning students: You need your Matricule UL (student ID number) and proof of having passed the previous academic year or met progression criteria.
- Valid contact details: A working email address and active phone number are required for account creation and receiving updates.
- Digital payment options: Set up Flooz (T-Money/Moov Money) or ensure your bank card is enabled for paying registration and tuition fees.
How to enroll online at the University of Lomé
All enrollment steps are now handled through the university’s official digital portal: daas.univ-lome.tg or the dedicated RESUP platform. Follow this clear, structured process:
Visit the Directorate of Academic Affairs and Scholarships (DAAS) website. Set up your student profile by entering personal details, BAC scores, and selecting your preferred faculty, school, or institute.
Scan and upload the necessary files in digital format (PDF or JPG), including your ID, BAC 2 certificate, birth certificate, and a recent passport photo.
Finalize your payment using authorized digital channels such as partner banks (Ecobank, BTCI/IB Bank) or mobile payment solutions integrated into the platform.
Once your payment is confirmed, the DAAS team reviews your application. A digital quitus (registration clearance) will be generated and made available in your personal dashboard.
Attend the mandatory medical examination at the University Medical Center of Lomé (CMUL). After clearance, collect your biometric student ID at the designated office.
Keep these original documents ready
Even though the pre-registration is fully online, you must present the original versions of these documents during academic or exam-related checks:
- A certified copy of your birth certificate.
- A certified copy of your Togolese nationality certificate (for nationals) or your passport/residence permit (for international students).
- The original or certified copy of your BAC 2 certificate.
- Academic transcripts from Seconde, Première, and Terminale classes.
- The printed enrollment form from the UL portal.
- Bank or electronic payment receipts.
Pro tip: Strictly adhere to the enrollment deadlines published by the DAAS. Late submissions often face penalties or automatic rejection. To avoid server congestion during peak times, begin your registration as soon as the portal opens.
