The Malian government has unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion FCFA for credible and actionable intelligence leading to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals sought for suspected terrorist activities.
The initiative was formally announced in an official statement issued by the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Brigadier General Daoud Aly Mohammedine. The move is part of a broader strategy to bolster the fight against terrorism and safeguard national security.
The seven individuals are accused of involvement in planning, organizing, or executing attacks that have endangered civilians and property across Mali. Among them are prominent figures with long-standing ties to militant activities in the region.
Key suspects identified by authorities
- Iyad Ag Ghali, also known as Abou Al-Fadel;
- Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré, alias Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô;
- Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo, referred to as Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi;
- Alghabass Ag Intalla;
- Sedan Ag Hita, who uses multiple aliases including Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani;
- Bilal Ag Acherif;
- Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi.
According to the government’s statement, these individuals are the subject of active manhunts by security forces due to their alleged roles in orchestrating attacks across Mali.
Mali’s authorities are calling on citizens to remain vigilant and collaborate with defense and security forces. They urge anyone with information that could aid in locating or apprehending these suspects to come forward and share it with the appropriate agencies.
This announcement follows ongoing military operations targeting armed terrorist groups in various regions of the country, as authorities intensify efforts to restore stability.
